What services do you provide?

We primarily provide individual and couples counseling. We also offer comprehensive ADHD evaluations and group counseling at various times throughout the year based on the needs of our clients.

What will therapy cost me?

For those individuals not utilizing insurance, initial intake sessions are $150 and each subsequent 45-55 minute individual counseling session is $130.

For those using insurance but who have high deductibles, the amount will vary based on your insurance company and our contract with them.

Standard copays and coinsurance will apply, and will vary by company and individual plan.

We accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, as well as Clergy Pay.

We feel strongly that therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, so we do our best to help each client explore all options for payment.

If we are not in-network with your insurance company, we are happy to provide the documentation needed in order to submit a claim to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement.

How can I schedule an appointment?

We will work with you to get you scheduled as soon as possible, at a time that works best for you, and with a therapist that can meet your needs. Many of our new clients are able to be seen within two weeks!

How does the ADHD evaluation work?

We offer a comprehensive adult ADHD evaluation that includes multiple standardized assessments and a thorough clinical interview conducted by a licensed therapist with advanced specialized training in ADHD diagnosis.

After your evaluation is complete, we will review and compile your results. You’ll then return for a follow-up session to go over the results, ask any questions, and discuss recommended next steps.

You’ll also receive a detailed written report summarizing your results, which can be used to request accommodations in educational or workplace settings.

How much do the ADHD evaluations cost?

Accepted Answer

The total cost for our comprehensive ADHD evaluation is $595 for clients paying out of pocket. This includes multiple standardized tests, a clinical interview, scoring and interpretation of results, a detailed written report, and a follow-up session to review findings and next steps.

For clients using insurance, we are unable to bill certain portions of the evaluation. As a result, there is an out-of-pocket fee of $375 (in addition to any standard copays or coinsurance, which vary by plan). Regardless of insurance coverage, your total cost will never exceed $595.

At True Self, we specialize in the treatment of trauma, faith crisis/transitions, life transitions, ADHD, High Masking Autism, LGBTQ+ issues, Anxiety disorders, and Mood disorders.

We also have therapists who specialize in attachment, disordered eating,  perfectionism, relationship issues, behavioral issues, grief and loss, and more!

What types of therapy do you offer?

Our therapists have a wide variety of training and expertise. Within our practice, we have therapists who provide varying combinations of the following:

• Traditional talk therapies, such as Person-Centered, CBT, DBT, and ACT.
 • Trauma therapies, such as EMDR, ART, IFS, Somatic Processing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT. 
 • Experiential therapies, such as Play Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, Geek Therapy, Music Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy.

Question 9

What if I decide my therapist isn't a good fit?

Effective therapy relies heavily on the relationship between the client and the therapist, so we understand the importance of finding the right therapist for you! If, for any reason, you feel your current therapist at True Self isn't the right fit, we will do all we can to either find another therapist at True Self that does fit your needs, or provide referrals for another therapist in the community. Question 10

Do you offer in-person or virtual appointments?

Both!

Most of our therapists are available for in-person sessions and can also accommodate virtual appointments as needed. For those who wish for only virtual appointments, we also have many therapists who can provide therapy 100% online.

Please note: We do not see children under the age of 12 virtually, as we've found it to be far less effective.
