Accepting New Clients
Elisha Wallace
ACMHC
Inspired by Irvin Yalom’s idea of “fellow travelers,” I don’t see myself as the expert on your life. Instead, I walk alongside you with empathy and compassion, helping you reconnect with the wisdom, intuition, and strength that are already within you.
I’m especially drawn to supporting individuals navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and seasons of life that challenge their sense of identity or leave them feeling disconnected from themselves.
My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on empowerment, cultivating self-trust, and creating meaningful and intentional change that feels true to who you are.
My Story
Growing up moving throughout the U.S. taught me early that connection requires vulnerability, the courage to step forward, risk rejection, and allow yourself to be seen. That understanding continues to shape how I show up with others.
I’ve also experienced my own seasons of disenfranchised grief and losing touch with my sense of Self. These experiences have shaped who I am and deepened my understanding of what it can take to find your way back.
I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Social Work from Utah Valley University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing yoga and mindfulness, exploring whatever creative outlet has my attention lately, going on coffee runs, and watching a good late-night dramatic movie.
