Accepting New Clients
Eileen Green
CSW
I welcome individuals experiencing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and related issues. I bring extensive experience working with individuals with a variety of disabilities. My approach is compassionate, individualized and flexible, drawing from EMDR, Sandtray therapy, EFT, CBT, and other evidence based modalities. I work collaboratively with each client to address their unique needs, reduce distress, and support meaningful, lasting change.
My training and experience with EMDR have allowed me to support individuals experiencing distress due to trauma to tap into their own minds ability to heal itself and reduce the distress they experience.
This life will bring pain and challenges which can feel beyond our ability to deal with. I want you to know there is hope, help, and healing. I look forward to facilitating your healing journey.
My Story
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly three decades working alongside individuals with a wide range of physical disabilities, including about ten years in the mental health field. I worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and, before that, as a Family Resource Facilitator, providing wraparound support to families whose children were navigating mental health challenges and multiple agencies. These experiences taught me that every person's healing is their own journey, and I see my role as walking alongside you and facilitating that experience.
I recently graduated from Utah State University's Master of Social Work program and earned my CSW license. I hold certificates in EMDR and Sandtray Therapy, and I'm always looking to grow. I hope to pursue training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in the future.
Outside of the office, I enjoy being social and gathering with others, especially when food is involved. I love board, card, and dice games, cooking, hiking, and a good challenge. Most of all, I love learning and discovering more about the world around me.
